Rainbow Eggs

A dozen colors, laid by hens with names.

A basket of rainbow eggs from our heritage flock

Every shell tells a story

Our heritage flock roams the pasture from sunrise to dusk, foraging for bugs, herbs, and wildflowers. The diet — and a careful mix of breeds — is what gives every carton its rainbow: chalky blues from our Ameraucanas, deep olive from the Olive Eggers, speckled chocolate from the Marans, and warm cream from the Orpingtons. No two cartons are ever quite the same.

Meet the flock

Each hen, each color, each story.

Cinder

Cinder

Blue Plymouth Rock

Cinder is in her prime laying age—about 1.5 years old. She wasn’t always the calm, poised hen you see now.Raised in a lively flock, she was once the quiet observer, never the loudest, never the pushiest—but always the one who figured things out first. While others rushed for feed, she learned timing. While others panicked, she studied patterns.

Nimbus

Nimbus

Frizzle Cochin

Nimbus is a whimsical 1-year-old hen whose soft, curling feathers give her the look of a drifting cloud—she moves slower than the rest, not out of weakness, but by choice, as if she’s in no hurry to reach anywhere. Gentle and slightly aloof, she often trails behind the flock, exploring her own small world in quiet curiosity. Her presence brings a calm, almost dreamlike softness to the group, and while she may not be the most productive, she’s the one everyone notices—because nothing about her feels ordinary.

Scarlet

Scarlet

Rhode Island Red

Scarlet is a confident 2-year-old hen who rose quickly through the flock not by aggression, but by bold presence—she moves first, claims space, and others naturally follow. Highly productive and endlessly curious, she treats every patch of grass like a discovery mission, yet always returns to the coop with clockwork reliability. There’s a fiery independence in her, but also a quiet loyalty—she’s the kind of hen that defines the rhythm of the entire flock.

Ivory

Ivory

White Leghorn

Ivory is a nimble 1-year-old hen built for efficiency—always in motion, always a step ahead, turning feed into eggs with remarkable consistency. She keeps a slight distance from the flock, preferring speed and awareness over social hierarchy, slipping in and out of spaces others overlook. There’s a quiet intensity to her—she doesn’t linger, doesn’t waste time, and by the end of the day, she’s already done more than most without anyone noticing.

Autumn

Autumn

Easter Egger

Autumn is a 1.5-year-old wanderer with a thoughtful, almost poetic presence—she moves slowly, pauses often, and seems to take in the world more deeply than the others. Neither dominant nor timid, she exists just outside the flock’s center, forming quiet routines and returning to the same hidden corners each day. Her eggs, like her nature, are subtle and unique—never loud, but always quietly special, as if she’s leaving behind small pieces of calm in a restless world.

Honey

Honey

Red Sex-Link

She has a steady rhythm to everything she does, from foraging to laying, as if guided by an internal clock that never rushes or falters. Friendly and dependable, she often ends up near people without quite meaning to, drawn by curiosity but staying for the calm—quietly becoming everyone’s favorite without ever demanding attention.

Sterling

Sterling

Silver Laced Wyandotte

Sterling is a composed 1.5-year-old hen with a deliberate, grounded way of moving—she keeps low, works close to the earth, and rarely wastes effort on unnecessary motion. Not drawn to attention, she prefers efficiency and consistency, often finishing her foraging rounds before others even settle into theirs. There’s a quiet strength in her restraint, and over time, it’s her steadiness—not flash—that makes her one of the most dependable presences in the flock.

Ember

Ember

Black Australorp

Ember is a steady 2-year-old hen with a grounded, no-nonsense presence—she spends less time wandering and more time working, methodically covering the same territory with quiet precision. Slightly reserved but never distant, she moves at her own pace, unconcerned with urgency or competition. Her eggs arrive less like routine and more like intention—deep-toned, grounded, and steady, reflecting a hen that values depth over speed in everything she does.
